The month of November still means fall to me even as the shop flips to the holiday season with displays of ornaments, Starbucks launches its merry peppermint mocha in swirly festive cups and gift guides flood my inbox.

The golden hues of sunshine sweeping over the remaining vibrant reds, oranges and yellows, the first glittery frost shimmering in the early morning hours, the deep blue skies and the soft green shades of heirloom pumpkins lining the steps with the crisp wheat-colored cornstalk wreath on the front door are just a few sweet, simple snapshots of autumn's lingering yet fleeting glow playfully reminding us to pause and capture it before winter sets in.

Enjoy a wonderful weekend!
