We traveled to New York earlier this fall to visit our son attending graduate school and stumbled upon Little Island where this photo was taken while exploring the area after lunch in the Meatpacking District. It is a brilliant use of space right on the Hudson River and this newly developed park/performing arts concept is a phenomenal additional venue to discover in the city.

We had our first official holiday kick-off event at the shop this weekend with unusually warm temperatures that certainly did not reflect the season. However, it was so welcoming to be able to prop the doors to the barn open, walk around the grounds to enjoy the various vendors and to take advantage of these waning mild autumn days full of sunshine.

Happy Sunday!
