It has been really busy lately preparing for an unexpected adventure that materialized just a few weeks ago leading to this weekend's notes to arrive in your inbox a little late...

When I decided to change business directions back in February, I completely jumped into exploring further expansion of this website by integrating extra details, digging deeper into designing pages, working on adding more writing pieces and developing an online marketplace + taking on delayed home projects, improving photography skills and occasionally tagging along with my husband on his endless global business travel.

Most of those items have been steadily checking off the list - with the exception of fully launching the online shop and tackling some of the home projects - when an incredible moment happened...

It is with much delight to share that I have been invited to join the talented and incredibly sweet team at The Old Lucketts Store and officially opened the shop this past Saturday. It has been a flurry of intense activity and anticipation cultivating inventory + pricing merchandise initially set aside for the online marketplace in addition to planning out the space at the store - and it all has been a thrilling, surreal and fulfilling experience... I cannot thank everyone involved enough for this extraordinary opportunity.

To surprising detours, a fresh chapter + renewed discoveries.

Have a wonderful start of the week!

  1. Have a question about growing and arranging flowers? Check out the newly published Floret Library that contains a ton of resources.

  2. Do you have a favorite chocolate dessert? How about this chocolate mousse or these homemade Milano cookies? Adding both to my favorites!

  3. A charming European-style house tour.

  4. If you enjoy podcasts, Julia Louis-Dreyfus recently initiated Wiser than Me where she engages in lively conversations with women older than her. So far Jane Fonda, Isabel Allende and Fran Lebowitz have made guest appearances.

  5. A list of books to read this summer if you are already missing weekly sessions of Succession.

  6. What kinds of inexpensive things do you bring home from a trip? Find out what interior designers stow away in their suitcases.

  7. Loved reading about the passionate work of British floral designer Luci Vail who recently created the floral arch that greeted visitors to the Chelsea Flower Show. Stay updated on her event installations through her website and her Instagram account @lucivailfloristry.

  8. A lavender sugar recipe just in time for summer lemonades and iced teas.

  9. Two beautiful estates in the Australian countryside: Rosedale Farm + Rosedale Residence.

  10. One more dessert idea as the temperatures begin to soar: an ice cream board!
